New Delhi is the capital of India and seat of the executive, legislative, and judiciary branches of the Government of India. It is also the centre of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The climate of New Delhi is a monsoon-influenced humid subtropical climate (Koppen Cwa) with high variation between summer and winter, in terms of both temperatures and rainfall.
